This picture was taken at 30 weeks….I just keep getting bigger an bigger and bigger!
I have been having weekly Nonstress tests for about a month. This little guy just will not co-operate! The nurses all sigh when they see me coming, because they know that it’s going to be a long one. A test that should take between 20 minutes and 30 minutes has taken at least an hour and a half if not 2 hours everytime! This kid boy is just very laid back.( I must admit that I am praying that he will stay that way! ) They bring this little buzzer thing out that they put right up to my stomach and zap me with. It doesn’t hurt, but it’s loud, so it is supposed to startle the baby and get his heart rate going. Well at least that’s the idea. This baby never flinches. I just laughed the first time that they did it. I told the nurse that he has 7 very loud brothers and sisters at home and a little buzzing sound isn’t going to do a whole lot. He seems to be perfectly content right where he is. If he is smart he will hang on for dear life and stay right where he is. There will be much loving on this baby when he finally arrives. I’m praying for another sturdy baby who can endure some tough love, because I know that it’s coming!
